Jeera aloo is one of the easiest and fastest dishes in Indian vegetarian cuisine. It is simple yet inexplicably irresistible. It is a simple potato dish spiced with cumin seeds. It is also considered as a bachelor’s dish due to its simplicity. At the end of a busy and hectic day, if you need to ease up some stress, this is the dish to go for.
Jeera aloo is also a popular dish among people when fasting, as it is strictly vegetarian. With the ease involved in preparing this dish, it is an excellent dish for those who would like to take a break and not indulge in cooking complicated dishes as it can sometimes get quite taxing! Yet there won’t be any compromise on flavor and gourmet gratification.
This simple and easy treat is for all potato lovers. It can be eaten with rotis, puris or as a side dish with dal and rice.
